Mountainsmith Eclipse 55 Backpack Overview

Light enough for weekend duty but spacious enough for extended treks, the Mountainsmith Eclipse 55 backpack is a terrific choice for just about any excursion. The pack features Mountainsmith's Load Dispersion Technology System, which includes four load adjusters and a pivoting waist belt that combine to spread the weight evenly across your body. The backpack's independently adjustable shoulder straps and molded air-channel back panel, meanwhile, ensure a comfortable fit throughout your hike. Perhaps the most convenient feature, however, is the lightweight VX-21 body fabric, which is supplemented by 210-denier high-tenacity Cordura nylon fabric, 210-denier ripstop nylon fabric, and bar tack and Hypalon reinforcements. The lightweight design makes the Eclipse 55 ideal for the through hiker, weight-conscious fast packer, or weekend warrior who craves a sleek design and innovative features.
